As a Quality Assurance Inspector within our Robinson Fresh division, you will oversee fresh produce commodities in the California marketplace.
Your ultimate goal is to develop and implement quality assurance best practices to deliver high quality products to our end users.
In this role, you will travel often and be on-site at different manufacturing plants and coolers typical travel is north to Salinas, CA & south to Oxnard, CA.
You will own several projects at once, so being extremely organized, efficient and effective will be important!
This is a remote position; ability to work from home.
There will be heavy travel requirement for this role.
It is ideal to have this QA Inspector living within 25 miles of Santa, Maria, CA.
Responsibilities:Work with a talented group of technology leaders to design and develop test plans, traceability matrices, test cases/ test scripts from requirements, use-cases, design/project documentsDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of product functionality in order to evaluate and ensure product operations during test cyclesDetermine conditions under which tests are to be conductedIdentify data requirements, create and maintain dataManually execute test cases to validate functionalityReport and track quality defects resulting from soil, weather, insect, regionParticipate in peer reviews for requirements and technical specificationsParticipate in the requirements gathering processProvide status and metrics reporting to management and project team membersProactively recommend and support process improvementsProvide innovative ideas and solutions in an ever-changing environment Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of previous agriculture/fresh produce experienceComplete understanding of the QA processes and methodologies, this includes: Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance TestingAbility to work occasional after hours and weekend work is required when applications are put into productionMust have reliable transportation to travel (by car) up to 50% of the time Preferred Qualifications:Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to successfully handle multiple priorities and assignments with varying complexityAbility to quickly grasp business processes/concepts and apply them to produce quality productAbility to work at both detailed and abstract levelsAbility to think strategically and detail orientedEffective management of schedule and time of multiple active and pending projectsValues a diverse and inclusive work environment Compensation RangeAnnual Salary: $58,700 $88,050 Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action EmployerC.H.
