Actively supports all safety aspects of job duties and standard operating procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Works under general supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.**Job Requirements:****ESSENTAIL DUTIES** :+ Complete daily work orders as assigned by manager.
Work orders will include repair and maintenance assignments including, but not limited to, the items listed above.+ Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are recorded, organized, and complete.
Records must be readily available for reference or audit purposes.+ Organize and clean the building services area.+ Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety policies and take all precautions for own safety and that of others.+ Assist as needed with regular non-critical maintenance to machines (i.e.
coolant sump sucking, chip spinning & oil reclaim, etc).**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:** High School Diploma or GED required.
Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in the field or in a related area; manufacturing environment preferred.
Experienced or certified in the areas of electrical, plumbing, painting, plastering, carpentry, and general building maintenance.**OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:**+ Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good record.+ Forklift certification a plus.+ Maintain open communications with other departments.+ Develop and maintain effective internal relationships.+ Ability to understand and follow direction is required.+ May be required to use company vehicle to pick up supplies or make deliveries.+ Must support a strong team environment.+ Familiar with Microsoft: Word, Excel and Google Enterprise a plus.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
