Title: Lead Station Technician West Side Los Angeles Location: Culver City, CA Reports to: Operations Manager Bicycle Transit Systems (Bike Transit) was established in 2013 and currently operates bike share systems in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Oklahoma City.

The Lead Station Technician (Tech) works to maintain maximum uptime and functionality of stations and a high quality user experience for end users.

In addition, the Lead Station Tech is responsible for working with the site Implementation Manager and Technical Operations Coordinator-Implementation in all duties related to station maintenance and repair.

The Lead Station is accountable for maintaining all station related SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)isbike share systemincluding, uptime, cleaning, and timely repair.

Core Responsibilities: Maintain station functionality and uptimeLead the West Side LA Station Technician TeamMotivate the team to perform safely, efficiently, and accurately and give feedback where appropriate.

Work with the Implementation Manager to identify, develop, and implement improvements.

Perform all related duties of Station Technician.

AdditionalResponsibilities: Providetrainingto side operations staffas directed by theImplementation Manager.

Ensure 24/7 station functionality and operability; repair stations as needed.

Provide complete service records for all work performed.

Work under the guidance of the Implementation Manager.

Ensure that station related SLA’s are met.

Lead project teams as necessary Use provided inventory tracking system to track and keep accuratecountfor station parts for site warehouse.

Request parts and tools as needed from Technical Operations Coordinator-Implementation.

Submit and track RMA/warranty parts for stations.

Work withImplementation Manager, Technical Operations Coordinator-Implementation, andOperations Manager toassist withstationdeployment and relocationthroughout the system.

Communicate with Implementation Manager and Head Station Techto implement suggestions for continuous improvement Correspond with vendors as needed Provide guidance and feedback to Dispatch for equipment and software issues.

Give and receive feedback to other team members.

Audit driver safety through Geotab, system metrics, Slack,Fiix, and feedback from Dispatch and Dispatch Manager.

Support corporate Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) goals and objectives.

Drive 26ft truck Other duties as assigned.

Daily tasks: Check in with Dispatchfor open station maintenance tickets, and to provide guidance with troubleshooting.

Monitorstation voltages in site.

Check and respond to email Ride E-Trike occasionally to perform daily tasks Weekly Tasks: Participate in bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with the Implementation Manager.

Test batteries.

Test “malfunctioning” hardware.

Process RMAs.

Count inventory and request parts.

Monthly Tasks: Attend monthly system wide Station Tech meetings.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Valid driver license and clean driving record Computer hardware, electronics and/or electrical experience required.

Ability to understand and learn technical aspects of the software and the hardware capabilities and needs of a bike share system.

Strong computer aptitude, and command of various software/productivity tools.

Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all work performed.

Strong leadership, communications and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate a team to perform effectively, efficiently, safely while finding joy and meaning in the work.

Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

Organized thinker, with the ability to self-direct under ahigh-pressureenvironment with changing deadlines.

A strong sense of safety for everyday tasks.

Physical Requirements and Special Demands: Frequently bend, stoop, and twist throughout the day Requires the ability to regularly lift objects up to 50+ lbs and carry objects of this weight for distances up to 150 feet Requires the ability to perform work while standing for prolonged periods of time.

Repetitive motion required of the writs, hands, or fingers occasionally throughout the work day.

May require working and riding a bicycle outdoors in various temperatures including rain, cold and heat conditions.

Comfortable driving, stopping and working in busy outdoor urban environments.

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with company and department policy.

This position may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week.
