STAR of CA is hiring Behavior Technicians in the following locations: Cmmerce, South Gate, Lynwood, Paramount, Bellflower, Long Beach, La Habra, Santa Fe Springs, Whittier, Pico Rivera, Compton, Hawaain Gardens, Cerritos, and Downey.

Salary range: $16.00
– $25.00 per hour Qualifications:
Proof of highest earned diploma required
Some college.
Bachelor”s degree in Psychology or related field preferred
Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus!
Past experience working with children, especially children with autism is preferred
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
Reliable Transportation required
Monday-Friday availability preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to children with autism in their natural setting, such as in their home, school, or community
Behavior Technicians teach children with autism how to talk, play, make friends, and function more independently, while helping redirect challenging behaviors
Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings to report child’s progress and get specific feedback from the supervisor
Collect, organize and summarize behavioral data on each child’s treatment goals
Able to lift at least 25 lbs
Able to sit (on the ground) for extended periods of time and move with ease
Able to see, hear, articulate (e.g.
for client safety, teaching of language and other skills, etc.)
Able to use/manipulate small technological devices Benefits:
