Job Description RV Technician/Apprentice – Quixote Studios – Sun Valley, CA Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and Television studios. Technician is part of the support team that promotes our mission to be the pre-eminent provider of products and services to the entertainment and advertising communities. https://quixote.com/ Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Perform pre-delivery inspection Assemble RV structure, wall, and roof, fresh water/waste plumbing Perform basic welding tasks Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain RV appliances, LPG system, A/C system, Install electrical wiring and balance electrical load and entertainment and satellite systems (Winegard, Motosat, Kingdone) Build, install, repair, and maintain cabinetry Install, repair, and maintain braking and towing systems Plain workload according to oral and written directions and complete assignments on or before the scheduled completion date Maintain facility and shop equipment; Maintains a clean and safe working environment at all times Process all paperwork regarding equipment damage and report to management Proper disposal of hazardous waste materials Follows and adheres to safety rules, regulations, and proper use of equipment that pertains to each job skill and qualification All other duties as assigned Qualifications/Experience : Flexibility to support rental operation during non-business hours (i.e. holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed) Must possess basic computer skills – MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Gmail) Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously Must be detail-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines Experience, knowledge and skills of the methods, materials and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of various types of equipment and power driven tools Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade COVID – 19 Vaccination Required Physical Requirements : Physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
