We are seeking driven, responsible full-time Service / Installation Technicians.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and service a variety of alarm products to residential homes and commercial businesses
Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment and wiring
Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment, and test for operation
Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs
Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies
Perform extensive programming on alarm and CCTV systems
Mount equipment; test existing equipment
Demonstrate equipment functions and usage to customers
Review work orders and accurately implement products and services
Utilize and interpret location maps, blueprints, and schematic drawings
Verify customers have a solid understanding of how products are used for safety
Maintain company vehicle; update truck inventory daily instead of work orders, replenish stock when needed, keep vehicle organized and clean
Maintain hand tools in good working order, specifically company issued tools
Complete installations using a variety of computer programs and apps
Work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites daily
Experience and Requirements:
· 6 months of experience in construction or a related field
· CA driver’s license
Skills:
· Basic knowledge of working with Microsoft Word, Excel, payroll software and ability to learn other software and applications
· Knowledge of Elk and DSC Neo panels
· Hand and power tools
· Low voltage background is preferred

· Ability to follow strict written and verbal directions and rules

· Must be able to meet deadlines

· Maintain a professional appearance including wearing safety equipment and a clean uniform
· Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
Education
· High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Attend training classes as required by State Certification/Licensing functions
