(NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an IMMEDIATE opening for an operations technician based at our Martinez Shell Hydrogen facility.The Northern California hydrogen facilities currently consist of two (2) SMR (steam methane reformer) units and associated equipment located within the Shell Oil and Andeavor refineries.As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for performing proactive process equipment and data monitoring of the continuous manufacturing process of hydrogen from steam and natural gas.

Additionally, the selected candidate is expected to support corrective actions and isolate system needed to maintain highly reliable and safe operations of our facility.

TWIC credentials and background check will be required for successful candidate.Air Products is the global leader in refinery hydrogen, and the candidate will support a first-generation facility, designed to supply gaseous hydrogen over the fence to the customer.

This position would be best suited for Non-commissioned Officers with specific focus in technical fields.
