Position Details:
• Location: Columbus, IN AND Seymour, IN
• Schedule/Hours: 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch
• All positions require a successful completion of a background check & drug test (we do not check credit).
ABBTECH pays for both checks
• Start Date: estimation 6/20/22
• DURATION: from 6/20 – week of 8/8.
There will be a 4 week break with the same techs to return mid-September through December, though full schedule and end date is not set at this time.JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:Computer Technician
• 2-3 years of experience working as an End User Computing PC Deployment Team
• New computer Installation, unboxing, and set-up (no date migration)
• Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs
• Must be able to be on your feet ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs.
• Possesses intermediate to advanced level knowledge and understanding of hardware products, commercial off the shelf application and diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities
• Possesses basic to intermediate understanding of networking and security practices
• Possesses proven customer service background
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed
• Possesses good analytical and communication skills
• Possesses strong ability to work independently
• Possesses High School Diploma and A certification or equivalent skill set
