We’re looking for a Technical Marketing Writer to join the Marketing team! This position at InfluxData will be responsible for creating and editing a variety of content, leveraging the thought leadership potential of our customer’s SMEs’ (subject matter experts – mostly developers). You’ll conduct detailed interviews by working with developers to support content creation in the form of blog posts, webinars, social posts, ebooks, video scripts, podcasts, instructional videos, sales combat kits, and checklists. You’ll combine your natural journalistic technique with your interest and knowledge of developer tools to extract the content from SME’s to write technical marketing content in a way that resonates with each of our customer’s personas. What you will be doing: Prepare written content for inbound marketing initiatives (blog posts, webinars, case studies, how-to videos, etc.) Develop and adhere to content strategies Participate in content planning and ideation meetings Maintain content calendar Plan, schedule, and conduct customer interviews with SME’s (subject matter experts) to gain knowledge and create written and video content Why do we want you?
