We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Assistant who is interested in building their knowledge in fashion, social media, marketing, sales, and show management.
Our Social Media Assistant will focus on creating and posting content on our social media channels in order to increase our online presence.
To ensure success in this role, the assistant should be detail-oriented, highly responsive, be a self-starter, and manage multiple projects such as creating & organizing social media calendar, executing various marketing events, developing schedules, and supporting overall sales.
The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in social media, fashion and/or retail & wholesale environment.
Reports to: Tradeshow & Marketing Manager
Duties/Responsibilities
Staying on top of major social media trends, trending topics and identifying any opportunities to build brand awareness
Building strong audience and attracting more buyers through audience engagement and interaction on social media channels
Travelling to key tradeshows and assisting management on-site with various social media marketing needs in order to maximize sales and presence
Attending weekly marketing meetings and selecting different weekly SM posting themes
Maintaining social media content calendar and organizing/creating content
Working under the management of Tradeshow Manager to present and execute various show marketing, graphics & displays
Performing other marketing related duties and projects such as brainstorming company swags, show related social media materials, and wholesale vendor live show
Analyzing measurements and giving week by week and month to month reports that show development and commitment

Requirements & Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong facilitation and project management, planning, critical-thinking, teamwork and organizational/time management skills

Demonstrates strong ability to handle trade show environment and planning
4.
Proficient to expert in Excel, Word, Powerpoint
5.
Team player, but also a self-starter
6.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
7.
Enjoys operating in a fast paced and demanding environment
8.
Must be able to travel 20-30% domestically
9.
BS degree in sales & fashion merchandising or related field would be a plus
