Social Marketing Platform Lead


This is a Contract position in Los Angeles, CA posted October 16, 2020.

The Social Marketing Platform Lead will focus on defining Quibi’s brand voice and overall identify across social platforms. This role will be a leader with vision, setting platform specific strategies for Quibi with a comprehensive approach to brand building, show promotion, fan/community engagement, talent activations and other company priorities. Working in close partnership with the show marketing leads, you’ll define the vision for how we represent our shows within the context of the overall portfolio and stay aligned with trends and culture. They will report to the Head of Social Marketing.What You’ll Do:Define and lead Quibi’s long-term social platform strategy and brand identity.Set the priorities and lead the day-to-day editorial and content plans for brand channels.Work in close collaboration with brand, creative, media, PR and other teams to orchestrate innovative social-first ideas.Set platform goals, and work in partnership with our analytics and research teams to extract actionable insights and track performance against these goals.Lead external agencies and partners that supplement our brands social efforts.Support all initiatives with a point-of-view on standard methodologies, and maintain strategic relationships with leading industry and platform partners.Coordinate many concurrent and multifaceted projects, while delivering campaigns on-strategy and on-budget.Stay informed of digital trends and emerging technologies, and find applications to incorporate these learning into our campaigns.What You’ll Need:10+ years of relevant experience (brand, entertainment, creative/media agency, etc.).Experience working with senior executives and AAA talent.Experience leading a team and working with agencies.A strong background in creative and copywriting.Experience setting important metrics and measuring impact.Passionate about entertainment, culture and technology.Outstanding communication skills, written and oral.An understanding of the industry landscape, emerging media and new technologies.Proven track record of working with others, both in a leadership role and as a collaborative team member.Quibi provides reasonable accommodations to assist with the application process, and, if hired, to perform the essential functions of the job.
