Senior Specialist, Marketing and Communications

Salary: $73,000 to $78,000 Position Summary: POSITION OVERVIEWThe Marketing Senior Specialist is responsible for providing marketing support and expertise to Datapult.

This includes developing digital, print and email marketing materials to support business development efforts, in-person events such as conferences and collaborating to create overall brand messaging.

In addition, while this person will be an employee of Datapult, reporting to the Product Manager, this position will have matrix reporting line to the APHL Marketing department to ensure brand coordination with the overall organization.

Datapult’s Marketing Senior Specialist will collaborate with all members of the Datapult team in development and deployment of Datapult’s branded marketing campaigns in coordination with the Product Manager and Director.

This position is responsible for ensuring consistency of positioning, messaging and marketing for the business and the product offering portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: As the main point of contact for Datapult marketing, this person will be responsible for:Developing marketing plans and campaigns for the Datapult portfolio, understand product and communication needsGathers necessary materials to understand projects and competition to determine the most effective communication techniques (such as literature or previous marketing campaigns, and analysis)Draft and propose communications campaigns, to include (but not limited to) social and online media, print media, direct mail and other multimedia.Creates and/or coordinates multimedia packages (can include scheduling and developing filming scripts, production and other contracting)Ability to set KPI’s and other success metrics for marketing initiativesDesigning key messages for marketing collateralProviding oversight for the development and design of the website and any other materials developed related to the Datapult’s businessCoordinating conference and other outreach opportunities for DatapultWorking with senior leadership, including Datapult’s Director, this person will design marketing strategies for the product portfolio and the businessCoordinates and attends trade shows and community fairs and staffs the company booth.OVERALL QUALIFICATIONS:This position requires an experienced marketing professional who can work within a matrixed role and provide direction to contract resources to get things done.

This person will help develop marketing strategies across the marketing mix to drive messages within different audience segments and personas.

– Education and Experience: QUALIFICATIONS:The successful candidate will have: Education and ExperienceBA/BS in a business, marketing, communications, advertising or related field.5 years of relevant and progressive experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.Advanced Degree may be substituted for years of experience.Years of experience may be substituted for formal education.
