This individual will maintain ownership of the core value proposition to the target customer, the messaging hierarchy, the brand development, and the go-to-market plan.

In addition, this person will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team during each phase of development: concepting, pilot, and launch.Essential FunctionsContribute to hypothesis generation, rapid prototyping, and testing product ideas with potential customers.

Participate in market research, user research, experimentation, and MVP development.

Track customer insights and use them to fuel effective positioning and marketing tactics.Develop product positioning for each new product concept that is developed: the category, the value proposition, the problem the product is solving, key features, key benefits, overview of the customer journey, target customer demographics, psychographics and insights, competitive analysis and draft brand narrativeBuild the marketing launch plan to hit business goals and customer adoption metrics.

You’ll have a unique set of resources at your disposal depending on each product: some pilot products go to market with a lean soft-launch, and some products go to market with a very significant budget and the full backing of AAA’s assets and resourcesKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesResponsible for designing and implementing ways to manufacture products and monitor existing processes and products for quality and efficiency.

Look for ways to make improvements in methods and technology by reviewing and interpreting analytical test results and dataSkilled in the conceptualization, design, development and marketing of newly created or newly rebranded goods or servicesCreativity ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutionsDevelop project schedules, define project objectives, set goals and determine measures to track progressEducation & Experience/Licenses & CertificationBachelor’s degree4 years of marketing experienceExperience with product marketing in a revenue generating environment resulting in the launch of consumer products.Successfully built a balanced launch marketing portfolio of demand-generation and acquisition channels, including digital channels such as social media advertising, referral, SEO/SEM, content, and mass media channels such radio, print & television.Built brands, positioning/messaging frameworks, and developed stories that engage people with products and experiences.Experience working with product managers, designers and business stakeholders to scope projects and deliver results.
