Ensure contacts are established as stipulated in the plan.(br(Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking; develop linkages with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations and churches; contract potential enrollees to explore enrollment(br(Prepare, schedule and provide outreach presentations in coordination with the assigned admissions counselor from that area.(br(Stay current with center information for the assigned centers to include trade availability.(br(Focus marketing efforts the available trades of each center.

Work closely with each center to ensure success stories of graduated youth in employment, military and college are published through e-newsletters and other forms of media and outreach.(br(Maintain linkages with the one-stop career centers; keep one-stops informed and updated on Job Corps.(br(Maintain accountability logs of organizations contacted, individuals contacted, and referrals to admissions counselors.(br(Prepare necessary and required reports related to recruitment efforts.(br(Administrative:(br(Collect, maintain and distribute Admissions Counselor’s performance data on weekly basis(br(Take, Maintain and distribute meeting minutes from weekly OA staff call(br(Conduct Initial QC of admissions files, when support is deemed necessary by OA manager.(br(Assist OA manager with Monthly Audits of OA files(br(Other Administrative task as deemed necessary by OA Manager(br((br(Education and Experience Requirements:(br((br(
– Bachelor’s degree and one year sales or marketing experience.(br(
– Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.(br(
– Experience working with youth, excellent written and verbal communication and computer proficiency also required.(br(
