Over the last few years we have successfully built the platform and operations to really make our mark in the activity and live event marketing space.

Now we are looking to ramp up our marketing to drive strong revenue as we prepare for funding our next level.

We are looking for a Marketing Growth Hacker to join our marketing dream team and take on full responsibility for driving bottom-line growth by bringing challenging ideas and marketing campaigns that drive brand and business objectives.

The Role

This is a growth and performance-based role; prior experience in leading a small marketing team to deliver results is required.

This position is responsible to lead, plan, manage, execute, and deliver results for Rush49 campaigns in all marketing channels.

You are innovative, strategic, process-oriented, and passionate about delivering results.

In this role, you not only lead and manage a team, but often are a key contributor to a campaign’s success-modify an email template, create a social media post, write copy, or pivot marketing data in a spreadsheet.

With an analytical approach, you use marketing data to make strategic and well-reasoned decisions.

You will have a decent sense of brand identity and style, but you consider yourself more “left brain.” You are never satisfied with the status quo; you are deeply curious and “double click” into all the data you can.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Manage a small, multi-disciplinary team of marketing specialists and coordinate with DevOps on required integrations/tracking Oversee all aspects of Rush49 marketing including, but not limited to: email campaigns, social media (organic and paid), SMS marketing, and affiliate marketing Be responsible for marketing budgets and the associated KPIs Prepare accurate and timely reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.

Design and develop demand generation content strategies (e.g., long-form emails, tweets, videos, website landing pages, partnership marketing).

Monitor and assess other businesses in the competitive market landscape; introduce innovative approaches to compete, differentiate, and achieve success.

 Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a hands-on, specialist role in digital marketing and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing projects and teams Managerial experience in building a team and working with contracted resources Proven experience in working with an annual ad budget > $1M Deep and broad knowledge of best practices for demand generation marketing Very conversant in key marketing analytics and using to drive strategic decision-making Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Current and growing in the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
