This role is a primarily remote, full-time employment role with monthly in-person co-working sessions in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for a candidate who will thrive in a start-up environment and wants to grow within a modern marketing and creative studio. AKA, you have to be down with the hustle. Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing client and Hart & Highland digital marketing strategies. This role reports to the Director of Digital Media and works collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Specialist to create efficiencies and the most effective outcome for clients and Hart & Highland as a company. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for all forms of digital marketing and look forward to working within a fast-paced team environment with multiple consumer brands. You should be up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, data, and consumer habits. You should have the ability to learn new digital marketing and advertising platforms as needed for clients. You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of determination to meet and overcome challenges. You should be ready to take initiative, keep projects organized, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with coworkers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation, and execution of digital marketing efforts and strategies for client projects and Hart & Highland across multiple channels
- Implementation & execution of digital ad accounts for client projects & Hart & Highland
- Implementation & execution of email & SMS campaigns, automation flows, and list segmentation
- Drafting copy and directing the design for advertising, email, & SMS assets
- Support in the planning and strategy for digital marketing efforts with the Director of Digital and Digital Marketing Specialist
- Collaborate with Visual Designer for all graphic design needs
- Assist with organic social management as needed – inbound & outbound engagement, posting content on accounts, etc.
- Work collaboratively with all Hart & Highland team members and clients
- Communicate with internal H&H team related to planning, approval, and execution of all digital marketing project SOWs
- Collect data, read, analyze, and interpret digital marketing results and constantly optimize for efficiencies (ROI and KPIs)
- Prepare ongoing reports and client presentations
- Prepare ongoing Hart & Highland case studies
- Copywriting for digital ads, email marketing, social media, blog, marketing materials, and website needs
- Evaluates and stays up-to-date with current technologies and trends in digital marketing, tools, and applications
- Perform ongoing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Support client lead sourcing and lead list management on an as-needed basis

Education, Experience, and Requirements:
- Must have one of the following: a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have at least two years of digital marketing experience
- Must have experience managing Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns
- Must have experience setting up and optimizing paid search campaigns on Google Ads.
- Must have experience managing and executing email marketing campaigns
- Must have experience managing website content
- Must have knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc.)
- Must be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet processing software
- Experience with SMS/MMS marketing is a plus
- Experience with direct to consumer brands is a plus
- Experience with performance-driven SEO strategies is a plus
- Experience with email automation and sequences is a plus
- Experience with Shopify and Squarespace is a plus
- Experience advertising on Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Amazon, and YouTube is a plus
- Experience with display advertising is a plus
- Experience with project management software is a plus (asana, Airtable, Slack, etc.)
