Working closely with our Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator is a key role joining our small but mighty marketing team that oversees communications for our two meal delivery service brands. This position will help execute projects and campaigns communicating directly to our community of stakeholders both online and offline. This is a great opportunity for someone to learn the ropes of all functional areas of marketing and get in the door of a start-up on the brink of expansion. This position will be remote until we return to the office part-time this September and work out of our commercial kitchen and office space on the westside of Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in managing our digital presence and online community including upload photos and text on website and digital profiles
– Create and schedule posts on social media based on editorial and campaign calendar
– Respond to comments and engage in relevant discussions on social media
– Assist in managing relationships with partners and influencers
– Assist in managing our email marketing campaigns including create templates, upload content, segment lists and schedule emails
– Edit and write blog posts, act as point of contact for guest submissions
– Optimize content for search engines and lead generation
– Schedule content and manage posting
– Create promotional materials and images
– Capture informal content (photos / videos) to use on social media, assist in planning and production of photo and video shoots
– Act as point of contact for events, plan event details and coordinate execution across teams
– Manage setup and breakdown on day of events

Requirements:
– BA / BS degree
– Previous marketing internship or 2 years of work experience
– Exceptional communication and writing skills with ability to adopt our brand’s voice
– Strong work ethic and stickler for details
– An eye for design and love of the psychology behind marketing
– Experience with CMS (SquareSpace or WordPress), email marketing platforms (MailChimp or similar), and Graphic Design Tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc)
– Background or interest in the health & wellness, fitness, fashion, or related industry
