The Marketing Coordinator will be part of a team responsible for helping drive revenue for our band, choral, music instrument and piano departments through various marketing and administrative support activities.
This role will work heavily with our editorial and sales teams to ensure the right messaging, products and content are being delivered to our customers online and in-person.
The ideal candidate will have experience with database work, event planning and email/social marketing.
Ability to deliver on deadlines, handle multiple tasks at once, excellent attention to detail, solid writing skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of leaders is preferred.
Experience: Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or Advertising 1-2 yrs.
experience of marketing coordinating Video editing & email service provider experience (Preferred) Love of music is required.
Preference for candidates with musical backgrounds, including piano, band, choral, or other instrumentalists.
Responsibilities: Project Coordination: coordinate projects such as emails, social media ads, brochures, and/or catalogs Database Work: assist with entering and editing data for newly acquired product lines and uploading images for website features.
Catalog Creation: coordinate certain catalogs and brochures from start to completion, including proofreading, price checks, printing, and mailing.
Event Administration: work with management to book trade shows; maintain trade show calendar spread sheet; book hotel rooms and flights for show attendees; reserve badges for attendees; coordinate graphics, digital media, and product displays; coordinate scanners for show sales; arrange shipping to and from shows; marketing our involvement at the show via email and social media; etc.
Maintain Marketing Calendars: proactively work with managers to set goals, devise and execute scheduling plans, and track their results.
