This role is integral to TYT’s product, programming, and content marketing and will also support efforts in growing podcasting and expanding reach on social media.

This is a key role to support increasing brand recognition, viewership growth, and to drive revenue via implementation of marketing strategies.
nn nn n nn nn Primary Responsibilities: nn nnThe Marketing and PR Associate is responsible for planning and executing promotional campaigns for TYT including: new products, programming, special content, podcasting, commerce, and other company initiatives.
You will be part of a highly collaborative team environment where planning and staying organized are key to being successful in the role.

· Create and manage detailed marketing planning docs to support upcoming launches, new products, special programming and content, and any other campaigns across the membership,nn nnprogramming, ad/sales, podcasting, and commerce teams that need marketing support.

· Maintain internal marketing calendar and Trello boards.

· Support internal and external marketing needs and deliverables with PR/Marketing Manager.

· Grow TYT’s social media presence.
Work with PR/Marketing manager to develop strategies to optimize engagement and drive traffic on all social media platforms and create content for all platforms.
Analyze data and click through rate to determine if social media posts are helping to achieve objectives that impact engagement and revenue generating activity.nn nno Research and identify the latest social media trends used bynn nnthe industry, including hashtags and tactics that TYT can employ in marketing campaigns.nn nno Post regularly on social media and engage with the audience.
nn nno Monitor social media trends and test new tactics.
Track results.
nn nno Work closely with the graphics team.
They will be responsible for requesting graphics.
nn nno Manage social posts via Buffer.
Draft copy for social posts,nn nnsubmit for review, and schedule the posts using Buffer in advance.
Track and update any changes.nn nno Amplify TYT hosts and content on Twitter, Instagram, etc., to drive engagement.
nn Support podcasting marketing and promotions.
Create visibility around TYT’s podcasts and support the growth of listenership.
Support ShopTYT marketing and promotions.
Work with ShopTYT manager to implement new promotional strategies and tactics to increase sales.
Website updates.
Update TYT.com via announcement page and carousel slides in accordance to the marketing calendar.
Support in-house and client/partner promotions.
Drive tune-in for all O&O TYT channels, special programming, ShopTYT, podcasts, special events, high profile guests, awards, milestones, external partnerships and membership campaigns.
Contact database management.
Manage and further develop existing contact databases for PR, marketing, ShopTYT, podcast, influencers and political organizations Event planning.
Assist in planning and execution of PR events including monthly salons and Watchdog Correspondents event.
