Drew University of Medicine and Science is seeking a highly motivated and experienced enrollment marketing specialist to work with CDU’s offices of admission, financial aid, community college partnerships, and the registrar to create and deploy interesting and compelling marketing materials for all CDU programs. Materials may include (but are not limited to): print collateral material; web-based marketing material; material for social media platforms. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Working in partnership with the Associate Provost for Student Affairs and the Executive Director of Enrollment, the Enrollment Marketing Specialist will:
Develop messaging and market positioning for CDU and the university’s various academic programs. Conduct a thorough review of all marketing materials in use and revise as necessary. Develop ongoing and ad hoc communication campaigns from Admission, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Community College Partnerships. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student workers who will focus on developing and maintaining a vigorous social media presence. Work with deans and program directors on program-specific marketing plans and tactics. Other Duties and Responsibilities:Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements:EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, fine arts, graphic design required; Or relevant field with two or more years of directly related professional experience; Or equivalent combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE:3-5 years marketing experience in a higher education environment required. 3-5 years marketing experience in a university setting preferred. KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY/SKILLS:Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, techniques and practices Demonstrated success creating marketing collateral such as print material, merchandise, signage, social media ads, digital advertisements, and other visuals Ability to hire, train and supervise student staff Experience in a University setting COMPLEXITY:The ability to perform highly detailed work with sustained attention and care while providing/obtaining information on numerous inquiries is paramount to success in this position.
