Community Manger, Social Media – Contract to Hire

Ryan Recruits is looking for a Community Manager, Social Media for an agency client.

Our client is an organization that thrives on collaboration and the magic that transpires during the creative process!

The Community Manager, Social Media who will be in charge of up-keeping and assisting in the growth of their vibrant social media brands and 2.4 million followers!

You are a social media marketing fanatic, actively identifying trends, best practices, relevant news, influencers, and other opportunities in digital marketing.

You possess a creative yet analytical mindset, and are passionate about building emerging brands and maintaining communities.

This role is a contract to hire role and reports to the Senior Director, Social Media, Los Angeles.

This role has the ability to transition from contract to a full time hire within the first 3 months or less if applicable.

Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or related field
1-2+ years combined experience in Communication, Marketing, Social Media, Copywriting and Community Management
Experience reporting on ongoing analytics and campaign-focused metrics

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage each channel’s direct messages and comment sections, both organic and paid.

Respond to all DMs and reply to all comments, ensuring messaging and responses are on brand
Execute upon the optimization opportunities regarding audience behavior and engagement to ensure that insights are integrated into current and future strategies.
Collaborate on the development of social media programs for internal and external clients, providing research and insights for market landscape
Execute tactical plans that deliver against social media strategies outlined by the Social Media Director, and support overarching marketing efforts on social channels across industries for both paid and organic campaigns
Scout key influencers, Content Creators, and content that would be a fit for the brand’s community
In collaboration with the Social Media Director and Creative team, post copy that aligns with the brand tone and voice for client review process.
Drive community management of assigned external client’s paid media
Provide general analytics across all platforms

Technical Skills & Preferred Requirements:
Solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc., as well as emerging platforms
Must be skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience working in Keynote, Google Suite and Canva a plus
Experience with CMS platforms such as Spredfast or Sprinklr as well as Sprout Social

The Intangibles:
You have a solid understanding of pop culture and Gen Z
You are comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Social and Editorial teams as well as presenting to Executive leadership
You are highly organized with excellent copywriting, presentation and verbal communication skills
