Cannabis Marketing Coordinator

An accredited top cannabis testing lab in Los Angeles is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team!

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Marketing department in executing various campaigns and initiatives.

Key areas of focus include content editing/creation/maintenance, social media contributions, updating customer information in our CRM, and performing general administrative needs.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail are critical.

Job Duties:

· Create, coordinate, and deliver social media content.

· Maintain and monitor social community engagement.

This includes analyzing trends and generating reports.

· Provide heavy copyediting support for blogs, educational, promotional, corporate, and other internal pieces.

· Assist in the creation of content for email, web, and internal communications.

· Perform various research, database and physical inventory management, and related administrative support.

· Build strong internal, external, and cross-functional relationships.

· Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

· Ability to maintain an incredibly high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced deadline environment while successfully managing multiple tasks.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work, influence, problem solve, and communicate with all levels of the organization.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, G Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and WordPress, paired with strong eye for design and knowledge of Canva and/or Photoshop.

· Some understanding of UI/UX, SEO, and PPC.

· Strong project management skills.

· Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate various social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and similar.

· Required: A bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or university.

· Preferred: Experience in B2B marketing.

· Preferred: Knowledge of principles, terminology, practices, techniques, and instrumentation commonly used in a laboratory setting.

· Optional: Exposure to the cannabis industry.
