Alliant is looking for a talented performance marketing strategist with a record of excellence in results-driven digital marketing and experience in traditional direct marketing channels to acquire new members, which is what we call our customers.
The Acquisition Marketing Strategist should be experienced in devising and executing organic and paid strategies to acquire profitable and engaged members subject to cost-per-acquisition (CPA) goals and brand guidelines.
The individual should have a passion for data and a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
The incumbent reports to the Sr.
Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, and is responsible for working cross-functionally and across all channels to support member acquisition goals.
Responsibilities Do you see yourself doing this?
Performs background research and analyzes past marketing efforts to recommend brand-appropriate acquisition strategies to support member and product acquisition goals Translates marketing and product ideas into concrete, data-based marketing campaigns and long-term customer journeys Delivers data-supported strategic insights to Paid Media Specialist and Social Media Specialist and partners with both to optimize ongoing efforts in paid search/SEM, display/programmatic advertising, organic and paid social media advertising, and affiliate partnerships Partners with Brand Communications team and third-party vendor on ongoing efforts in organic search/SEO to support organic acquisition goals Develops, manages, and optimizes member acquisition efforts with existing influencers; identifies and develops relationships with new potential social influencers to expand reach Works with the in-house creative team to design, develop and distribute creative assets to support acquisition campaigns Establishes measurable, achievable goals and provides consistent reporting for each acquisition tactic Manages a multi-million-dollar media budget to meet cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and cost-per-lead (CPL) metrics Partners with Product and Member Experience teams to understand their goals and ensure that acquisition efforts help support them Stays informed about latest marketing technologies and trends/evolutions in digital media to ensure that Alliant maximizes its reach for new members Partners with Enterprise Expansion team to support acquisition goals from Alliant’s Select Employee Groups (SEGs) Completes special projects, as needed Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act.
Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies.
Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Where permitted by applicable law, successful applicants to this position must either have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered (proof of vaccination is required), or be willing to submit a negative COVID-19 test result in advance of each visit to an Alliant facility.
Qualifications What makes you a great fit?
You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree, required, and you have: A minimum of five years of relevant experience in digital marketing (agency or brand side) with depth in social media/influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, organic search/SEO, paid search/SEM, display/programmatic, and/or audience retargeting Experience driving to business results through conversion and engagement through targeting, creative and testing at scale Deep understanding of the user journey, product lifecycles, and conversion funnel and where they drive demand and growth Experience with running and interpreting ad-hoc reports in website analytic tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics Experience with analyzing data, including the ability to use descriptive statistics and determine statistical significance when conducting A/B or multivariate tests Experience with authoring and presenting detailed analysis of past campaigns, including the ability to use data to tell a story and shape future strategic direction Experience with traditional channels such as direct mail, cable TV, and terrestrial/satellite radio Experience with media buying and planning Strong project management skills, including use of tools such as Microsoft SharePoint and Basecamp Experience in agile marketing of with scrum or SAFe frameworks helpful Builder of mutually beneficial working relationships, both within and outside the Alliant organization Outstanding oral and written communication skills and comfortable with delivering presentations to a wide array of audiences, up to and including the executive leadership team Driven to deliver measurable results Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau, social media platforms, ad buying tools, and online collaboration/webinar tools Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others When you’re happy, we’re happy As a thank you for joining our team, you’ll benefit from: Competitive medical, dental, and free vision benefits Competitive compensation plan Contributions towards gym memberships Generous PTO and banking holidays off Still not convinced?
