Removing pieces from cutting table and placing on Ashton conveyor for seaming and edge deletion. Removing scrap pieces of glass from cutting table and dispose of in designated scrap glass hoppers.•Tempering: Position lites of glass on washer conveyors in preparation of furnace tempering. Monitoring furnace temperatures and adjusting as needed based on ambient temperature and glass type/thickness. Conducting break pattern tests on test pieces of glass with every glass thickness change to ensure compliance with state and federal codes. Cleaning out broken glass from furnace and quenching as needed.•Offloading/Packing: Removing tempered lites of glass from offload conveyor. Checking customer label and placing lite on designated rack or A-frame. Preparing complete racks/A-frames for shipment.
