Growing and high end furniture manufacturing company is seeking MULTIPLE Production Expeditor’s •Furniture, Garment, Apparel, Textile, Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing and Merchandising industry background is a huge plus** Reports To: Production Managers, Production Coordinators along with General Manager/COO Summary The Expeditor provides production support by expediting orders and production activity to ensure that orders are processed accurately and timely per customer specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Print and Email Order Acknowledgements as required •Process, send, follow up, and update Drawing for Approvals as necessary •Send, follow up, and update Finish Samples for Approval •Follow up on Status Checks and order completions •Communicate effectively with all vendors/finishing shops regarding purchase order status and details •Respond to all inquiries either via of phone, e-mail or mail effectively and timely •Hel maintain inventory •Work with clients and vendors to manage expectations and avoid problems wherever possible •Process/Receive all packing slips timely and accurately within E2 •Review orders as needed to ensure outstanding items are followed up •Update Odoo ERP on orders as required •File all opened orders within their respective areas to ensure they are processed •Follow up with Showrooms on Balance Dues, Carriers and ?Ship To? Addresses •Crate and send a biweekly Completed Order Report •Ensure all completed files are submitted to Shipping to initiate a Bill of Lading (BOL) •Fill in on the Front Desk / Receptionist desk as needed •Other duties as assigned Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
