DescriptionThe Manufacturing Technician I/II is responsible for equipment prep, formulation, aseptic compounding, and filling activities for biopharma and medical device products, as well as following recipes (SOPs
– Standard Operating Procedures) to mix and formulate raw materials.
This candidate is then responsible for entering material into vials.
The three step process is formulate, fill, and finish, so their role is critical in making sure the recipe is accurate.
As an entry level candidate while in training, they will need to pull materials, clean, and other things to support the fill.
The job requires a lot of cleaning.
LSNE is an ISO 5 environment so they perform daily and weekly cleaning.
Spend probably 60% of their time on the manufacturing floor and 40% of the time they will be pulling materials to support a fill, disposing of trash and other waste, and training in Master Control which is the system where SOPs are stored.
When this individual is media fill qualified, they will participate in the fill.
