Summary

The Business Process Analyst II will provide support for process improvement initiatives yielding bottom-line productivity and improved delivery in the plant operations.

The person will be part of the team that oversees Lean Six Sigma transformation within Plant Operations, including but not limited to, deployment strategy, planning, training, coaching, project management and tool development while providing support for all activities associated with the design, implementation and sustainment of lean production and management systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluate and analyze the current production process, sequences, workflow, metrics, and performance to identify, plan and implement process improvement initiatives
May lead and facilitate effective and timely action planning for cross-functional process improvements, including but not limited to; diagraming and evaluating existing processes, design implementation, monitoring, and maintaining
Gather data that consist of analyzing and monitoring output under new methods providing regular updates to management on impact/results of changes
Develop metrics for process measurement and collects data to identify root cause of problems
Work with management to identify new process improvement opportunities in areas of quality, cost, performance, inventory, and preventive/ predictive maintenance
Provide support and consultation in the facilitation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools implementation, as well as manage Kaizen events
May assist Lead to facilitate teammate training program for improved manufacturing practices
Continuously communicates progress to team
Updates new procedures and maintain SOPs, polices, communication, and visual aids in support of continuous improvement projects.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent
2+ years related work experience to include budgeting, finance and or business analytics
Green belt in Six Sigma/ Lean Knowledge or certification required
Experience in manufacturing environment a plus
Strong Analytical Skills
Sound knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning
Cross-functional business team environment experience preferred
Proven ability to self-manage and deliver on time to budget
Excellent inter-personal skills to build relationship internally and externally
Reliable and flexible in their approach

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties.

Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.

Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb.

In addition, requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds.

May be exposed to noise and be required to wear hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
