In this role, you will plan, direct, and coordinate the manufacturing processes for this specialty tire manufacturer. You’ll have the opportunity to make a mark on every facet of the plant and processes, from machine efficiency to Value Stream mapping to capital improvement. As a Process Engineer, you’ll be a solo artist with strong cross-functional support, managing multiple projects concurrently, while constantly re-prioritizing to address challenges as they arise. Who You Are
- A hands-on engineer with an eye for detail and problem solving and a strong working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes.
- Driven to see projects through from start to finish while staying flexible to manage and reprioritize multiple projects at once.
- Able to tackle projects and problems alone, but skilled at collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of the methods and techniques in the design and operation of automated process control systems and their components.
- A self-starter, comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with very little red tape.
- A strong communicator, able to write, speak, and present to all levels of the organization
- Continuous improvement focused, driving Lean concepts and problem-solving techniques.

Background Profile
- BS in Engineering required (preferably in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering)
- Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques in the design and operation of automated process control systems and their components, required
- Familiarity with standard software packages, including Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project Scheduler or equivalent), database and flowcharting, required
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor or Solid Works, required
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience with high-volume manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Experienced with applying Lean principles such as 5S, One Piece Flow, JIT, Judoka, TPM, KanBan and SMED, preferred
- Knowledge of six sigma tools and methodologies preferred.
