Watch the video” We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the Chemistry manufacturing team at our Newport, DE site on 2nd Shift.

The team is responsible for the consistent and high-quality production of all our HPLC particle stationary phases.

Responsibilities: As a member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of chemical operations using chemicals and solvents in accordance with Agilent’s standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

This will include: Keeping detailed, accurate and legible paper and computerized records of production Detailed Oriented Set up and operate equipment following standard procedures and work instructions Conduct tests, experiments and/or problem resolution associated with our processes/systems Work with technical and engineering teams to support troubleshooting of any process issues.

Provide suggestions on potential improvement opportunities in quality, product, processes and efficiencies Critical Skills & Behaviors: Demonstrated chemical operations experience Commitment to continuous learning and personal development Good documentation habits, problem-solving, and attention to detail Excellent verbal & written communication skills Collaborative approach: demonstrated ability to work with others to accomplish a common goal Basic computer skills /advanced applications Flexibility: proven ability to adjust rapidly and optimally to change and remains open to new ideas Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to work overtime as the business requires, including weekends.

Note: This position will have a shift of Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM ET (Includes a 10% shift differential) Qualifications Desired Qualifications: 3 years experience in a chemical manufacturing setting required for entry Must be able to lift 25Ibs.

Must be comfortable working with chemicals.

Preferred Qualifications Life Science based degree is preferrable Action employer.
