You will specify production methods, design fixtures, tooling, and equipment required to manufacture the company’s components and products.
Responsible for plant layout, processes, and standards in the production area.
Provide and document manufacturing methods, workplace layouts, and process flow charts.
Establish fixture and tool requirements, design special tooling, justify and acquire tooling and equipment necessary to simplify manufacturing processes.
Support production through recommendations on assembly methods, line balance, operator training, and process control.
Assist work teams in the improvement of the work environment and in the solution of production problems.
Write procedures for the operation of new or existing equipment.
Install and establish new equipment, ensure its satisfactory operation, and instruct others to use and maintain the new equipment properly.
Develop processes, methods, tooling, and process controls for new products.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science Degree Minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, metal fabrication, welding, paint, and assembly.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and problem solving capabilities.
