Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Level 3) to join our Defense Spares Engineering team. In this role, the focus will be on delivering products and services that provide best in class spares solutions for maximum customer value as part of the Spares Engineering Execution team.Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):• Work in a cross-functional work environment including engineering, quality, product support, supplier management, and program management• Build technical data packages for use by suppliers• Develop and implement manufacturing plans• Resolve technical problems that would minimally impact performance, cost, or schedule• Analyze design / build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirementsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):• Bachelor’s degree or higher• Experience working with manufacturing methods, fabrication or assembly processes• Experience with Excel, Word & PowerPointPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):• Experience working with out of production aircraft programs• Experience supporting the development of engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications• Experience working in a cross functional environmentTypical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
