Digital Tools Administrator-Supernal

What we do:
The Digital Tools Administrator will be responsible for maintaining multiple cross-functional software tools used in the complex new product development. The role will be responsible for the upkeep of these software tools and ensuring there are no service disruptions. This role works closely with ER&D team members to align the tools with the overall vision and with IT and external vendors to get these tools implemented and our teams trained.
What you can do:
- Manage & administer software tools used by the ER&D team
- Provide day-to-day support to end-users by responding to technical support requests while using a high degree of independent discretion
- Develop use cases to integrate different digital tools to support business processes and oversee the development and implementation of such integrations by vendors
- Responsible for documenting the business processes and training the team in using the digital tools effectively and adhering to the processes
- Help implement, manage, and maintain the selected digital tools
- Onboard new users by creating their user accounts with appropriate permissions
- Audit the tools for license usage and project future license needs
- May require 10% domestic and international travel
- Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, aeronautical or equivalent field
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing digital tools (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Experience with CAD systems (e.g.: CATIA, NX, etc.), PLM systems (e.g.: 3DExperience, Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.)
- Knowledge of Requirement management tools like IBM DOORS, Jama, and MBSE tools such as IBM Rhapsody
- Good understanding of new product development (NPD) processes & systems
- Experience with aircraft development programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
You may also be able to contribute:
- Master’s degree in a related engineering field preferred
- Familiarity with regulated environments and export control laws
