Glass Production Worker

The Glass Production Worker packs, moves and cleans up glass, as well as disinfects and sterilizes tools and equipment.

He or she also will perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping and mopping.

Availability to work on any shift in a rotative schedule.

We are a Janitorial/Manual Labor Company-working at Vitro.

We do heavy production/manual labor on plant floor and some janitorial.

Starting wage is $13.00 with raises at 7 months, 13 months and 19 months-top out at $14.25 Some Special/Skilled positions will pay more Working 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year-be flexible to work any shift, any hours: 8 (can be 10 to 12) hour shifts Monday through Friday, or Sunday through Thursdays, both with some Saturdays 12 hour rotating shifts changing days to nights each rotation 10 to 15 degrees hotter than outside on the plant floor-you must stay hydrated; Vitro furnishes Water stations Strict Attendance Policy/Attendance points Know/willing to learn to operate Forklift, bobcat, fork truck, overhead crane.

Be flexible in hours/willing to perform any job-be a team player Lifting 20 lbs.

on continuous basis; 40 to 50 lbs.

not continuous basis Wide range of motion: bend, stoop, twist, reach Stand on concrete floors for 8 to12 hour shifts.
