Overview: Loads, lifts, and moves supplies, furniture, and equipment.Loads and unloads trucks.Learns to operate construction and/or maintenance equipment.Will be required to learn to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used bythe agency, office, or related units.Keeps order in lavatories and locker rooms.Arranges equipment, materials, and articles in an orderly manner.Deposits sweepings in trash cans.Shovels snow from driveway and sidewalk, and spreads sand, salt,or ashes on icy surfaces to prevent slipping.Under direction, performs varied simple, routine tasks involvedin the cleaning and maintenance of buildings/grounds; does otherrelated duties as required.
Qualifications: Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE IS A MUST; Preferred Middlesex County resident.
