Sony R&D Center is seeking a creative individual to join our newly created R&D team.

Required qualifications:, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.Strong research background and demonstrated record of innovation in the area of electromagnetic field simulation and optical design software.Familiarity with Python or C/C++Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.All candidates can be located anywhere in Europe.Preferred qualifications:Experience and research track record in diffraction optics design and simulationExperience working with GUI toolkits like GTK/Qt/wxWidgets or equivalentExperience with OpenGL, graphics, and 3D visualizationFamiliarity with RCWA theory and codingFamiliarity with Matlab for rapid algorithm prototyping.Five or more years of related professional experienceWe are looking forward to YOUR application!Bring your uniqueness to SonyWe recognize that each and every one of us is original and different.
