Find your future with us.Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to join the Production Engineering team located in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.Work with others to lead the manufacturing readiness review process.Conduct hardware and build planning reviews.Resolve technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.Assist in the implementation of Lean principles and process control.Interface with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop robust manufacturing processes.Provide technical direction to shop floor technician regarding manufacturing methods and best practices.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S.

Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):Experience working with satellite products, space flight hardware, or aerospace hardwareExperience working with space electronics or aerospace flight hardwareExperience using ERP/MRP to develop and release of work instructions and non-conformance dispositions Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
