Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Lead, the Specialist assists in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company procedures and cost goals.How you will contribute: Receive inbound shipments including verifying the count and the accuracy of the documentation.

Also requires the segregation, processing and forwarding of materials to designated warehouses or locations.

Inventory control including material transfers, cycle count and stock status/reorder point activities.

Ship including packing of materials, documents and arranging for pick-up with designated carriers.

Provide first rate customer service including understanding and meeting customer requirements, together with a positive attitude.

Always maintain a clean, safe, and secure work area.

Help with special projects, including complex projects and budget tracking.

Conduct warehouse responsibilities in a manner, which promote safety and comply with FDA, OSHA, DOT, and MSDS standards and company SOP’s.

Assist/lead weekly cycle count and provide guidance in resolving counting issues and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Perform transactions associated with receipt, issuance, and movement of raw materials and finish goods within computerized ERP system.

Help train other warehouse personnel.

Help with development and ensure adhere of departmental SOP’s.

Work with Supervisor or designated team member to produce and analyze performance metrics for the warehouse.

Support daily manufacturing operations by ensuring material availability, deliveries, and inventory accuracy.

Guide Bobtail Truck used for delivery of Raw material between Warehouse and manufacturing facility.

Support and emphasize the Safety and Quality commitments of the department and participate in Safety Coordinator program for the department.

Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles, including a delivery truck, forklift, and pallet jack.

Basic knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Demonstrated understanding and compliance to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Knowledge of basic chemical safety procedures.

Use resources in the most efficient and productive manner possible.

Identify errors or faults in process and recommend or implement solutions.

Make arithmetic calculations quickly and be able to work with both the metric and USA standards of measurement.What you bring to Takeda: High school diploma or equivalent required.

May be required overhead reaching when completing the following job responsibilities: handling supplies May inspect constantly when completing the following job responsibilities: reviewing computer/paper report data ensuring compliance to SOPs, reviewing shipping, receiving, and material request documentation.

Warehouse environment; inside working conditions.

May work in a loud area that requires hearing protection and other protective equipment to be worn.

May work or be assigned to a different shift.

Able to work more than 8 hours a day or 40 hours a workweek as required.

Overtime may be required at times..

Pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.

May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.

This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.

Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.

May work in a cold, hot, wet environment.
