Warehouse Order Selector

The warehouse team must work together to process orders and have them ready to deliver in an efficient manner while maintaining a clean working environment.

Order Selectors ensure all orders are picked, stacked, and ready for loading.

All positions within the warehouse are considered safety sensitive positions as defined by the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention and Testing Program as allowed under the State of Oklahoma House Bill 2612 (aka “The Unity Bill”).JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the picking and stacking of all product necessary to complete an order.Utilize the voice pick system to determine which product in which bin should be picked for an order and that all product is accounted for when fulfilling an order.Responsible for accurately picking the correct product in the correct quantity needed to fulfill an orderProperly stack all product for a specific order on a cart or pallet ensuring product is balanced and secureKnow and practice all safety procedures when using a pallet jack to maneuver the cart or pallet throughout the warehouseEnsure the completed order is stationed in the designated area for quality review and preparation for truck loading.Cooperate and work well with all employees in every area of the warehouseGENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate and cooperate with all departments of the company to ensure the smooth operation of the company as a whole.Maintain a positive relationship with all customers, co-employees and management.Maintain appropriate uniform and personal appearance.Know, understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.Promote company goodwill in all areas, assist others and perform tasks as appropriate and/or necessary to help maintain the positive image of Capital Distributing in the market.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Must have a High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 5 years proven warehouse experiencePrefer at least 1 year experience using forklifts and other warehouse equipmentMust complete tasks accurately and timelyMust be self-motivated and maintain a positive “can do” attitudeMust be a team player and work well with othersPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to drive, sit or stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift and carry 25 to 70 lbs consistently; up to 100 lbs occasionallyMust be able push or pull 50lbs to 100lbsMust be able to twist and reach overheadMust be able to crawl and/or climb a ladderEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
