Job Description We are recruiting an Order Puller/Forklift Operator to join our team Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials. Responsibilities: Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials Prepare products and materials for shipment Load, unload, and stage products and materials Track and record units of materials handled Adhere to safety policies and procedures Able to operate a reach truck, clamp, stand-up, and/or sit-down forklift. Able to successfully pass a federal drug screening. Has a positive work demeanor, collaborates well with others, is patient, and proactive with solving issues as they come-up. Must be responsible and reliable. Able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (later on occasion) Able to physically pull stock product from the warehouse to fill orders accurately and efficiently. Able to palletize product in the most secure manner to move this throughout the warehouse. Adheres to all safety policies and protocols in executing assignments. High school diploma preferred. Able to lift and handle product up to 51 LBS, repeatedly and continuously throughout the day. Follows instructions of Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager’s administrative personnel. We will try select candidates on a paid trial basis, this trial does not establish employment. Other duties in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse department. Qualifications: Experience in general labor, construction, or other related fields Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles Ability to handle physical workload Strong work ethic Physical Activities of the Position: Position requires frequent standing, lifting, bending, and walking in order to move product (many times on pallets) from/to different locations through the warehouse department Position may include some twisting, turning, stooping, pushing, pulling, squatting, reaching above the shoulder, and other physical movements to reach a few products on occasion The temperature of the warehouse changes with the changing weather Candidate Requirements: Interpersonal Skills – Focuses on solving conflicts, maintains confidentiality, listens to others and keeps emotions under control.
