Summary
Assists with receiving, and storing shipping materials, supplies, and components. In addition, assists with packing orders, palletizing and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining G.M.P guidelines, good documentation practices and applicable laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Assists to sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
· Assists with sorting and storing perishable goods in temperature controlled rooms.
· Helps to assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.
· Marks materials with identifying information.
· Assists in the recording of amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
· Weighs or counts items for distribution within establishment to ensure conformance to company standards.
· Drives pallet jack and/or carts to transport stored items from warehouse to production areas or to pick up items for shipment.
· Loads and unloads freight.
· Helps maintain the warehouse’s cleanliness and organization.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
