Job Description Primary Location: Jackson, Wyoming Warehouse Foreman: Is responsible for the supervision of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving of materials, inventory management, and assisting with all supervisory responsibilities of warehouse employees.

Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, and ability to give clear instructions to employees.

The work environment is usually loud, and employees are exposed to moving machinery, caustic chemicals, and fumes or exhaust.

Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Implements operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of product and materials including out dated, damaged and pilfered inventory.

Loads and unloads material onto or off of skids, pallets or trucks with forklift and other lifting devices.

Confers with warehouse manager and department heads, when appropriate, to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.

Inventories route truck haul-backs and reconciles with ending load sheet.

Maintains warehouse inventory and floors in clean and orderly condition.

General maintenance and cleaning duties as necessary.

Secures building by locking doors, turning off lights and activating alarm at the end of the night shift.

Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.

Directly supervises 4 to 6 employees in the Warehouse department during assigned shift.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
