Make an extraordinary impact: The User Experience Researcher plays a key role in how we shape Digital experiences at Anthem.

Responsible for supporting the growth and development of digital experiences and achievement of value-based outcomes by working cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop digital products and platform strategies.

Leverage expertise in healthcare and digital to support the organization’s business partners in the identification of what our users need from our products by conducting research and performing usability studies.

How you will make an impact: Plan and implement appropriate research methodologies to address key business needs and to ensure the research provides clear actionable recommendations.

Design studies to address both user behavior and attitudes while using qualitative and quantitative data to assist in the creation of effective, desirable and easy to use digital user interfaces.

This may include surveys, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, card sorts, tree testing, intercept studies, focus groups, ethnographic field studies for both web and mobile experiences.

Design, author and execute test plans, as well as evaluating the results for evidence based research to develop recommendations.

Ability to manage 2-3 research projects.

Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS in Human Computer Interactions, Psychology, Information Sciences, Communications related field of study and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in user research/usability; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration.

Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions.

Experience with remote testing tools.

A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude.

Excellent time-management skills.
