https://www.bluequest.com/ Position: Traffic Details: Full-time employment Department: Aluminum Location: Summit, NJ Job Description: Full contract administration; close contact with customers to ensure timely delivery of the goods, invoicing, payment orders, preparing release, documentary and discharge instructions, pricing confirmations.

Liaison with agents for freight/chartering for vessels, barges, trucks, railcars.

Managing transportation from ports and warehouses to customers.

Supervising loading and discharging of Bluequest’s cargoes.

Issuing instructions to surveyors for material inspection, survey and tallying.

Handling of claims Stock declarations Assistance to traders during negotiations with counter-parties; issuing and editing of commercial contracts and amendments.

Preparation of the physical trading and stock position for the traders.

Daily preparation of the LME pricing card for physical contracts.

Assistance in negotiation of marine and credit insurance administration (declarations, premium controlling, invoicing), handling of insurance claims.

Coordination with Finance department (opening and negotiation of documentary collection, Letters of Credit, issuing Letters of Indemnity (LOIs), liaising with banks on transactions, payment and receivables, etc.).

“Trouble-shooting” throughout transactions.

Relation to other desks / areas: Internal: Finance, Accounting, Traffic, Trading External: Brokers, Banks, Forwarders, Agents, Bluequest field offices JOB REQUIREMENTS Good filing / organizational skills (ensuring that each transaction file is complete).

Communication skills to be on top of daily situation and keep the team informed.

Read and interpret documents, gather and analyze information, skillfully Good knowledge of and experience in MS Office, Outlook, Internet Good/Exceptional organizational skills are required Ability to prioritize and to handle various transactions at the same time Self-conscious and reliable Good team player, dedicated and flexible English (written & spoken)
– good knowledge of Spanish is a plus
