The work will be challenging, but always rewarding.It’s Work That Matters.OverviewPosition Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk Perform receiving activities that ensures the delivery of proper patient care, the protection of hospital assets, the security of the work area, and the effective and efficient payment for goods and services received. Completes the timely processing of shipments received; and maintain records to document the receipt of goods and services. Employee will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years receiving experience, preferably in a hospital setting.Education/Licensure/Certifications: High school graduate or GED required.Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a leader in pediatric and adolescent health both here and across the globe.
