Research Coordinator

Responsibilities
The Research Coordinator will assist the UCLA study site Principal Investigators with all aspects of technical and administrative research duties related to study development and study management for the CDC funded, INSPIRE project.

The INSPIRE project is a multi-institutional, longitudinal cohort study that focuses on studying the association of age with clinical outcomes and patient-reported outcomes in people infected with the coronavirus illness (COVID-19).

Qualifications

Required:
Three to five years in a related field.
Experience in marketing, publicity and successful recruitment into clinical trials
Creative development and supervision of no-contact recruitment activities including website design, social media platforms, digital advertising, etc.

Demonstrated expertise in the IRB, including preparation and submission of applications.
Demonstrated experience in working with diverse populations
Excellent writing skills to review reports, correspondences, and articles/chapters submitted for publication.
Ability to forecast and control expenses; demonstrated financial analysis, budget preparation and management.
Must be able to work to meet multiple objectives concurrently and have strong time management skills.
Must be fluent in current policies relating to human subjects in research.

Preferred:
Experience with the UCLA Health System and related Los Angeles public health agencies and organizations
