This includes:Performing cell staining and isolation of antigen positive B cells via cell sorting.Routine maintenance of the cell sorter including management of ancillary supplies.Responsible for tracking managing recombinant antibody projects status in a project tracking databaseScreening, purification, and specificity determination of antibodies in support of first lot manufacture and commercializationPropagation of mammalian cell lines and perform transient transfections in support of the recombinant antibody pipelineResponsibilities/Duties/Functions/TasksPreparation and FAC sorting of stained samples.Ability to design and execute well-controlled experiments.

Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.

Suggest additional experiments based on research findings.Read literature directly associated with assigned projects with the intent of developing and implementing testing strategies.Mammalian cell culture and transfectionPerform antibody purification, ELISAs, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)Accurately and completely record experimental data.Coordinate efforts with team members to assure seamless project advancement.Maintaining project status current in database on a weekly basisContribute ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory and manufacturing techniques, improve protocols, processes and equipment.Works under minimal supervision and reports to R&D ManagerOther duties as required and/or assigned.What you can offer?Proficiency in cell analysis or sorting by FACs and basic cell biology skills (cell propagation, western blotting) with at least 2 years experience or ISAC certificationBachelor degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry or other related discipline or equivalent knowledge ANDThree to five years laboratory experience, with a working knowledge of experimental design and demonstrated ability to multitask and troubleshootDemonstrated abilities in the use of basic laboratory techniques, equipment and materials requiredProficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerpointStrong organizational skillsWhat Active Motif can offer?Work as a valued team contributor Medical Insurance (M/D/V) 401(k) Robust PTO plan Fun team building events
