Postdoctoral Scholar – Research Associate
The USC School of Pharmacy, Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar – Research Associate to join our ongoing studies on cancer genomics and Therapeutics. Recent Ph.D. graduates with successful publication record in scholarly journals are encouraged to apply.
We seek a highly motivated scientist who is proficient in using routine molecular biology techniques for genomics/epigenomic studies. Hands-on experience with high throughput assays and next generation sequencing-based platforms is required. In addition, the candidate should have a strong background in computational biology, bioinformatics, or biostatistics. Computational skills, including experience with bioinformatic tools and packages, are needed. Experience with data mining, especially for ‘omics’ datasets, or developing pipelines/software for large biological datasets is desired.
The individual should have experience with working in teams, as well as an ability to work independently.
