Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate – Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics

A Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate position is available in the lab of Dr.

Serghei Mangul in the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California.

The Mangul lab aims to combine open omics data with robust bioinformatics methods to enable novel biological discoveries.

This includes designing, developing, and applying novel and robust data-driven, computational approaches that will accelerate the diffusion of genomics and biomedical data into translational research and education.The successful candidate will perform research and develop novel bioinformatics tools conducting large-scale integrative analyses of biological, medical, and genomic data.

Opportunities are available to conduct meta-analyses of software development practices, implementation, and bioinformatics educational strategies.

in biology, genetics, computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field.

Proficiency in Python, C++, and Unix Bash Shell is essential.
