– Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our Boeing Research and Technology (BR&T) Supplier Chain Management Organization.You will support various Research and Development (R&D) projects and programs.
These projects/programs can be authorized by external US Government Agencies or Commercial Contracts (CRAD) or internally funded R&D (IRAD).
Purchase Contracts can range from high to low dollar value subcontracts for all types of commodities and services.
Purchase contract price types will also vary such as Firm Fixed Price, Labor Hour, or other flexibly price types: CPFF, CPIF and Cost Match.You will act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility to commit company resources through the formal purchase contract placement process and various types of agreements for procurement of goods and services.
Position Responsibilities:
- Negotiates and contracts for products, services and technologies
- Engages partners to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and co nditions
- Prepares Request for Proposal (quote) packages and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Optimizes execution of the supply chain priorities and objectives
- Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, qualit y, financial stability and in-service performance
- Mitigates risks and issues; initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into customer, product strategies into negotiation and contracting strategies
This position allows telecommuting.
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
§ 120.15 is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 + years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 3 + years of experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions
- 3 + years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- E xperience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 + years of experience with various contract types (e.g.
Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts)
- 1+ year of experience working on government proposals
Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.
Master + 4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
