You will support the physicians and nursing staff in the delivery of health care by performing a variety of medically related tasks.The Logistics Technician, under the direction of a licensed care giver, and after education and demonstration of proficiency, performs a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the unit/needs of the patient population.

The Logistics Technician is primarily accountable for transporting supplies and equipment interdepartmentally and patients in all age groups.

The Logistics Technician identifies safety concerns in the age-related population; institutes protective measures to provide a safe environment, and identifies normal growth and developmental milestones in neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.Requirements:* High school diploma or GED required* Basic Life Support certification (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire* Knowledge of therapeutic positioning techniques preferred* Previous transportation experience preferred* Full command of verbal and written English language sufficient to carry out the duties identified in the job descriptionWhy work here?Beyond outstanding benefits, competitive salaries and health and dental insurance, we take pride in hiring the best employees.
